About Me.

Hi! I'm Audrey Maue. I am a second-year student in the M.F.A. Properties Design and Management program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I have worked in props and scenic carpentry at various theatres across the country, including the Krannert Center of the Performing Arts, the Contemporary American Theater Festival, the Nevada Conservatory Theatre, Peninsula Players Theatre, and the Indianapolis Shakespeare Company. My current portfolio includes work in upholstery, carpentry, welding, painting and casting & molding.

 

I received my B.S. in Entertainment Technology & Design at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. My undergraduate work focused on technical theatre, model making, venue design, and animatronics, creating a base skillset that translated to my current theatre-focused graduate studies.

Outside of academics and professional work, I enjoy hiking, traveling, photography, and listening to classic rock.
